I've worked with Motus Traffic in the past on a number of projects, this one involved creating a modern web front-end for their traffic controller.
This involved creating AJAX/JSON methods to communicate with the Linux back-end system, as-well-as a custom database class intending to create SQL-like functionality without the disk space premium or overhead.
This build provided quite a challenge, as storage space was at a premium and the hardware limited due to the embedded, lightweight nature of the unit. Using CSS or PHP frameworks were also out of the question for the most part, as the unit had to operate without internet access and contained within itself. All code for this project was bespoke and built from the ground up.
The unit itself uses various traffic standards such as MOVA and offers a wide range of functionality.
